Use a PDF scanner app on your phone. However, do NOT use iOS Notes' scanning function. I recommend Adobe Scan, as it eases the process of converting the PDF into an image file. Source: about 3 years ago

It’s actually really cool. It’s called Photomyne and it lets you scan bulk photos and it automatically detects the individual pix, separates them, restores them, and saves them in the app. It also lets you attach the back of the photo, let’s you add details, and has the colorize option.
