  Easy, block them. AdBlocker Ultimate seems to be the best AdBlocker extension I've found for Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and it seems to be even better than Edge's built-in AdBlocker. Unfortunately, however, it's sometimes nearly impossible to block these types of Adware since doing so might be considered as a 'click' and cause another unwanted popup to happen.   Depending on what type of cybersecurity you want to do, there's other ways to set yourself apart as well. Another way I'd get confidence in someone's abilities is if they've made bug bounties on bugcrowd.com or hackerone.com, for example.
