  • Definitely Has Viruses
That would be a nice explanation but the virus comes directly from the FXHome file's location, unless there's a hidden file with the same exact name. Also the Fxhome file that ridiculously increases in the space it takes up is connected to the Hitfilm app bc when I used the Hitfilm app, it would restart after deleting the Fxhome data. Also yes its from the official site, I can't even find a copy or fake site when... Source: over 1 year ago

  • HDR Video Editors for Windows 10/11
HitFilm Express is a pro level editor similar to DaVinci Resolve and according to this thread on their forums you can use their pay what you want model to get the option to export HDR video in ProRes or Cineform using more than 8-bit color spaces for true HDR. Worth checking out for your needs. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Freedom of creativity for free priced softwares
Motion Design Blender: https://www.blender.org/ Hitfilm Express/Pro: https://fxhome.com/ (Free version with Hitfilm Express that, in my opinion, is rather limited unless you purchase some addons or the Pro version) Fusion: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/fusion/ (Feature complete free version with an optional paid version that lifts some restritions and adds a couple of effects). • What’s the most efficient way to get a 3D tracked camera into your Maya scene?
You may wanna have a look at Mocha Pro or PFTrack, depending on your requirements and your budget. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Anyone know how to get the lock down plug in for free ?
Don't pirate. If you need mesh tracking, I've had lots of success with Mocha Pro's PowerMesh. There's a free trial, and one month is only $37 USD. Source: over 2 years ago
  • First vfx video. Made my cousin spew laser from his eyes. I still have to learn mocha.
Mocha is, at it's core, planar tracker, which means it tracks flat surfaces really well, but it's grown to become more of an "object tracker" that can track pretty much anything you want, the Pro version has a PowerMesh function similar to LockDown, powerful rotoscoping tools, and is generally considered to be incredibly useful in VFX. Here's the product page if you want to dive deeper. Pro is free for students... Source: almost 3 years ago
