Perhaps try to look at some actual games that were made within the last 5 years, and look at their player base. IIRC hordes.io was made by one very talented individual working full time for 3 years. It is fairly simple, but it has a decent player base. Have you ever played WoW classic? I know you've played wow, but modern wow doesnt have the same sense of exponential progression as classic. That game is one of the most satisfying games in terms of gear and skill line progression. Probably one of the most remarkable leveling AND endgame progression experiences I can think of. Tips: A few other pointers to make daily standups more productive include keeping your standup groups small so daily updates are agile, concise, and relevant to attendees -- ideally at a 9 person maximum, according to the Scrum Guide.
