I use Autodesk viewer to share preliminary 3ds at work, you'll have to sign up to upload and use it but once you have the link afterp you upload you can share it with anyone, there is a time limit of 30 days for uploads, but can be manually extended another 31 days https://viewer.autodesk.com/. I believe Eleuther was much more selective what training data to use which is why they didn't need so many parameters. But is sounds like they're a pretty dedicated crew that will be working to make more open-source alternatives for ChatGPT for years to come.
