We are a game server host for gamers. We are focused mainly on "7 Days To Die" and "Minecraft" hosting and rental. We provide custom panels, so that the user experience is simple and intuitive. Games should be just fun and not wrestling with servers. Leave that for our automation. We are obsessed with self-service and want this to go beyond any limits. We host on dedicated servers with Linux and strong hardware specs. Our locations are Canada, Germany, Australia and France. We don't have very many customers yet, so if you come, you will be served as a king! :) We are always for you to help.

A hosted server at https://7d2d.net/ starts from just $6 per month, probably even cheaper if you can afford a long term package. I see minimum wage is $7.25 in the US*; so if you spend even 1 hour of the month configuring and maintaining your sever, you would have been better off cost wise just working a minimum wage job for an hour to cover the server costs for a month; and that's before we factor in energy and... I also just found https://7d2d.net/ a moment ago, $6 for a small server seems too good to be true but would be a sweet price to avoid the hassle of self-hosting. I'll look into them or similar hosts too. Source: over 1 year ago
7d2d.net is as cheap as $6 per month, cheaper if you pay annually. So even at minimum wage, if you spend more than 1 hour per month configuring and maintaining your server you are still coming out at a net loss compared to just working an extra hour per month to cover the costs. It sounds like you want to run your containers on a serverless platform. You would need Kubernetes to use these but check out Kubeless or Knative. They both have the ability to scale your containers down to zero when not in use and then spin them back up when a request comes in. Source: over 2 years ago
Serverless computing comes into play with the promise of freeing teams from having to deal with operational tasks. The general idea with Serverless computing is to be able to provide the service code, together with some minimal configuration, and the provider will take care of the operational aspects. Most cloud providers have serverless offerings and there are also serverless options on top of Kubernetes that use... - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
