Use sketchup (it's free) to model it, then you can go to hubs.com or shapeways to get a quote on a 3D printed part. If it's gonna be out of the sun, you can probably get by with PLA. Otherwise use PETG for higher heat resistance. Source: over 1 year ago

A crease pattern can clearly be serialized, and the order of folding listed. What's wrong with a textual description that might take a couple of pages to print out? It seems to me that there's no real compression challenge here—the full description of any folding pattern can be expressed concisely.
