Have you tried managing your library via the desktop web site and returning a few books there to see if it helps? (I think that embedded link is global, but if it isn't, go to comixology.com, then "My Account", then "Manage your library"). There's no requirement to "join" to use comixology. It is simply a platform by which you can read the books that you purchase through comixology. Its fit for you is completely dependent on the selection of books offered in the catalog. I do recommend using the comixology app to read and use comixology.com for shopping and purchase. I know these are just wallpaper to kindle and amazon, but I just find the compartmentalization easier to manage, especially at the start. If you read text books on kindle you will probably have to select the filter in the library to show only books and not comic books and manga. Source: almost 4 years ago

Yeah, I also see the "Kindle Comics" label as a portent of an eventual removal of the Comixology brand (aside from going directly to comixology.com, how does one get to Kindle Comics from the Amazon home page? That being said, visiting comixology.com was a daily ritual for me. On Monday, I would browse the sales. On Tuesday, I would shop for new DC and older Marvel books. Wednesday was great, as of of the rest of the new stuff would come out. Thursday was usually graphic novel and collections day. Anyways, I figured out that all the comics I've been buying over the past 7+ years on comixology.com are actually already in my amazon.com digital content library. Which made sense to me because all my purchases on comixology.com were in USD funds. So once I figured that out I started to dig deeper and this is what I figured out. Try Comixology . It's an Amazon subscription service for comics, graphic novels and manga. You pay monthly and you have unlimited access to select titles. The titles that are not included in the membership are priced a little cheaper than the physical book. There is usually a 30 day free trial and it's $5.99/month in the US.
