  • Single user Mastodon hosting providers?
I do think masto.host is a great host, but if you can afford a bit more, I can throw my hat in the ring: Cloudplane. Our pricing model is based on usage, so you'll never have to upgrade you base plan just to upload more media. We run daily backups and also have an option to export your data to your own s3 bucket on a schedule (currently in beta and free, but there may be a small charge per export in the future). • Single user Mastodon hosting providers?
I’m on https://cloudplane.org/ with an instance of three users (mostly just me tbh) and I pay about $16 per month. I’ve been pretty happy with the performance and support. Source: 12 months ago
  • Running own Instance
If you lack the server administration skills, there are also fully managed hosting providers. masto.host is a popular option starting at $6, my service Cloudplane starts at €12. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Hosting a Mastodon Instance on Heroku?
We are on that list and we accept new users :) https://cloudplane.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Are any Mastodon hosting providers still accepting registrations?
I got started with Cloud Plane this weekend. So far, so good. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Cheapest Mastodon Instance hosting
If you like a fully managed option, we offer Mastodon for 6 Euros per month https://cloudplane.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Managed Mastodon hosting
Since there is another big spike in users on Mastodon and providers like masto.host continue to be closed for registration, I wanted to direct some attention to our hosting service: https://cloudplane.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Would you be interested in joining a business-friendly Mastodon server?
So here's my idea: A business-friendly Mastodon server that's run by my hosting company. Using it would be free as it's a nice way for us to dogfood our own service. But there would be strict rules against unwanted advertisement on other people's posts (servers that don't play nice will get blocked by the rest of the network). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Where should businesses, brands, startups begin on Mastodon?
I've noticed that some communities have strict rules and don't allow businesses. Large organizations should definitely run their own server (shameless plug: managed Mastodon hosting), but small businesses, startups and founders may not want to. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Is there some list/repository of Mastodon/ActivityPub hosting services?
If you don't mind the plug, I'm also running a managed hosting service for Mastodon and other apps https://cloudplane.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Managed Mastodon Hosting @ Cloudplane
Hi, I'm the founder of a managed hosting service. Due to the high demand, we've added Mastodon hosting to our offering: https://cloudplane.org/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Easy Hasura & NocoDB hosting
Hi, I'm the founder of Cloudplane, a service where you can launch fully managed web apps in under a minute. Hasura and NocoDB let you easily turn any database into a GraphQL API. We provide a database out of the box, but you can also connect your own. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does anyone have experience to share with CloudNativePG in production?
Thanks for your feedback and for letting us know that cloudplane.org uses it (it would be great to have you listed here). Source: over 1 year ago
  • Why Kubernetes Is So Complex
The good news is that there are many efforts to make Kubernetes easier to use. Acorn aims to simplify application packaging and deployment. And services like Render and our very own Cloudplane use Kubernetes under the hood to deliver a user-friendly solution that requires zero Kubernetes knowledge. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • Why We Use CUE (and Not Helm)
Cloudplane is a managed hosting platform built on Kubernetes using our own resource templates. We evaluated several templating tools and eventually settled on CUE. Here's how we arrived at that conclusion. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
