This is a very painful problem to have. Receiving 2FA SMS programmatically is surprisingly difficult because of all the safeguards against scammers, even if your usage is legitimate. As you say, normal providers like Twilio are blacklisted so they are unreliable at best. https://clerk.chat offers the ability to receive SMS on genuine non-VOIP numbers. They are ridiculously bad at pretty much everything – terrible... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Are you currently running on Slack for internal communication? If so, consider Clerk - although you can also use Clerk without Slack, too. Your choice. Maybe their price points match your needs - you can make calls and send/receive sms and you have the option to keep your number or get a new one. May be worth looking into. https://clerk.chat/. When you say group text, do you mean like a cohort of people? Or sending out the same text to a large group of people? If I’m understanding you correctly, you could consider something like https://clerk.chat - they let you keep your number or choose a new one. Up to you. Source: over 1 year ago
Great question. Check out clerk.chat - you can bring your own number or get a new one. Super simple setup. Tiered pricing options. Great customer support. Also happens to integrate with Slack and Teams - if you want that option. Hope this was helpful! Source: over 1 year ago
Have you looked into something like clerk.chat? You can send & receive SMS with your current number or you can get a new one. If you happen to run on Slack or Teams, it easily integrates if you want to go that route. Are you currently using a solution or trying to find one that works with your needs, such as travel, etc.? I'm looking to set up something related to a service like https://clerk.chat. This would require the ability to obtain phone numbers that can receive SMS codes from banks, government agencies, and tech companies, many of which block VoIP numbers like Twilio, Google Voice, etc. Anyone ever worked on something like this or have any idea where to start looking for providers? The industry itself seems rather opaque. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
There is a service Clerk that allows you to use a non-voip number for 2FA sms messages that get sent directly to a specific slack channel. Source: over 2 years ago
For instance, recently, I came across a service that basically allows you to forward SMS to slack. It made me think of the SMS marketing technique as a general one. The reason for that is nowadays, we see dozens of different ads and promotions. Besides, I’ve read somewhere that we notice only 1-2% out of everything posted. It’s like a drop in the ocean. So, how can a startup become noticeable among sharks of the... Source: over 2 years ago
I’ve been searching for a solution since lack of communication is a big issue nowadays. I’ve read about the send SMS from slack service. I wonder if you have heard anything about it? Will it help solve my issue and unify all people in my office? Source: over 2 years ago
Another thing I can say about SMS marketing. I recently came across slack SMS services, and I think it might be a good idea to try. Personally, I don't receive too many SMS messages at all. I use different messaging apps. So, whenever I receive an SMS notification, I quickly rush to check my phone. I don't think it can work to attract new customers, or can it? Source: over 2 years ago
We’ve learned our lesson, and we are trying to be not so pushy with reaching our customers. Besides, I’ve recently discovered an option on how to forward SMS to slack. It might be an awesome idea to reach our loyal customers through SMS and keep them updated from time to time. What do you think of that? I would be interested to hear your opinion about the customers’ loyalty. Source: over 2 years ago
I looked through some reviews online, and I see that many people suggest trying slack SMS services. As I can see, they also provide some calling services. I don't really care about emails. But calls and texts and the unity of contacts are essential for my business. I wonder if you have tried this service and can share your opinion about it. Or if you can suggest something reliable to me according to my company's... Source: over 2 years ago
I’m writing here because I recently ran into services that allow me to send SMS from slack. It pushed me into some considerations. I run a small business, and obviously, like any other entrepreneur, I think of expanding my business by attracting new customers. Source: over 2 years ago
But, on the other hand, I've recently found out about the option to forward SMS to slack. I think it might be a good idea to become noticeable among others. I wonder what do you think about business messaging platforms? Have you tried something like this already? If yes, please share your experience about it below. I wanna learn as much as possible about this option. Source: over 2 years ago

I would like to discuss with you SMS marketing techniques for business. Recently, I've come across a service that basically allows you to send SMS from slack. It's mainly designed for business. But, before implementing this to my own company, I've decided to do a little research on it. Source: over 2 years ago
But, on the other hand, what are other ways to remind yourself and persuade your customer to return to you? I've read somewhere about the slack SMS services. As for me, with so many different texting apps, we completely forgot about old traditional SMS. If you send one in a while, people will definitely go and check their phones. But, it's just my theory, based on my own habits. I wonder if you open SMS coming... Source: over 2 years ago
If I may, clerk.chat is the best native SMS for Slack app - but I’m biased 🙃. Source: over 3 years ago
