If you don't want to wake up with a heart attack, I highly recommend you to change the default alarm sound Radar to Slow Rise.
I bought this pack of tones and alerts form this guy. Some of them are pretty gentle. Just a suggestion for something different for ring, text, or alarm. http://cleartones.net/. Source: over 2 years ago
