I use CleanMyDrive2 on all my SD cards and external HDDs before ejecting. Works great and it's free. Source: over 1 year ago
Download CleanMyDrive 2 and install. Grant it access to your SD card. After you transfer any files to you SD card, "clean" your card with the app, before ejecting, to avoid '._' dotfiles everywhere. Source: over 1 year ago
MacOS will add those files to the SD card to help index the files. I use CleanMyDrive 2 to clean the files off the SD card whenever I make changes to it on my Mac. Source: about 2 years ago
