  • VPN quick access?
That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for, thank you! Are all applets from the cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com store safe to use? I admittedly never really understood how this stuff is monitored for malicious code. Source: 11 months ago
  • I made these Hogwarts-themed terminals/desktops along with matching themes.
Nice! Post them on cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com and share, if you could. I'm sure others would love them! Source: about 1 year ago

  • Windows eat your heart out !!! Simple theming but I like it. Easy on the eyes in any light level and supremely functional for my needs.
You can install Cinnamox themes in Mint's theme settings or download them from Cinnamon Spices. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Search box on the bottom panel
It's definitely not a DE-agnostic question. I don't use Cinnamon, but I searched around the official add-on site (https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/) and didn't see anything that did exactly that... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Am I missing something?

But as to why - well you lose a lot of the broad nice things about windows, like software working out of the box and generally broad support for all number of things, but in exchange you get the ability to customize your system to any level you want. A good example of this is the choice of desktop environment. Which is something that's set for you on windows. Do you want to use Gnome? You can use KDE if you don't!... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Where do I download the default icon and theme packs for Cinnamon from and how do I install it?
I cannot find these themes on https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Just a Linux Mint Appreciation Post. It is Awesome!
Honestly, a google search is how I found out how to customize things I was looking to change. Also searching through the Linux Mint forums. I just found artwork that I like lurking around the internet. My app icons are Papirus and can be installed through the terminal or the Synaptic Package Manager, then changed in the System Settings in your menu. I am using Cinnamon. The clear dock can be found under Extensions... Source: over 2 years ago
  • DNS requests to resolve cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com after update
Upgraded to 20.2 over the weekend and noticed a lot of DNS requests for cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com on my pihole. I haven't seen this before the update not a big deal but wondering. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Which one of you did this?
Cinnamon Spices just got a whole lot more interesting ( ╯ᐛ ) ╯︵ ┻━┻. Source: almost 3 years ago
