I got the Novation Circuit Tracks recently, and paired it with my Korg Volca Bass. This is my attempt at a few Drum and Bass type tracks. I recorded myself playing the set live (see this on the bottom right kind of transparently) and used Butterchurn visualizer (https://butterchurnviz.com/) as the backdrop. Enjoy! I have been looking for something like this, but even the discounted price is a bit steep (~$60 USD). There are some free open-source frameworks to do this... I really liked Milkdrop back in the day, but haven't found a great MacOS port yet. Most of the Milkdrop ports I found run in a browser window, so the performance isn't great. Don't know of any plugin, but you can use https://butterchurnviz.com/ without downloading anything, it can respond to microphone input and if you really want you could probably reroute your audio using blackhole. Source: over 5 years ago
