  • Mead Recipe Builder???
Brewersfriend.com has a recipe builder that also works with other ingredients, including honey. Source: 12 months ago
  • My Efficiency Sucks and I'm Frustrated.
Most of the time, I'm brewing from a recipe kit so I get my target OG from the brewer's instructions. On the off times that I'm going from another recipe I generally use the calculators over at brewersfriend.com . Source: 12 months ago
  • Short boils and first wort hopping
When you use software for creating your recipe such as on brewersfriend.com you can select how much, how long, Alpha acid of the hops and when in the proces you add your hops (Boil, FIRST WORT, dryhop, etc). Source: over 1 year ago

  • Braggot Help.
My BIG PROBLEM is that the brew calc at brewersfriend.com is telling me my final gravity will be 1.060...which is NUTS. Source: about 3 years ago

Also, I've found the refractometer to be highly accurate.. When it says there is zero sugar, the drink tastes... Source: about 3 years ago
  • Check out my water profile and recipe!
I used the Brewing Water Chemistry Calculator on brewersfriend.com. I'll take your advice and skip the baking soda and give it a shot with all the others included. Maybe I can reach out to the extract manufacturer and see if they have a water report available lol. Glad you mentioned that bit because I didn't take that into account. Source: about 3 years ago
