  But you don't have to. What you can also do is, as you already suggested get a list of titles from somewhere (say, from a database of ISBNs or scrape them from Amazon) and perform simple string to string matching (maybe with some fuzziness to account for variation in spelling, where NLP techniques might help).   Do you mind if I ask what database you're using? I've played around with isbndb but yours is a lot better. I like to play around with different types of categorization for books and would LOVE access to this data xD. Source: over 3 years ago
