Bill.com have just gotten back to me saying they haven't received the money back (which nationwide said would have only taken 5 days from the 23rd November) and that SWIFT have told them that they did infact have my full name on the transaction and not my initials or anything else (unlike what nationwide told me). All online, customer can pay with a link, generates all our monthly invoices automatically, easy to generate and send hardware and project invoices on demand, can be used to pay your vendors as well, syncs with Quickbooks, customers can be set up for auto-pay via credit card (charge to us is 2.9%), you can charge a convenience fee if you want. You enter into a contract with the US-company, to be a contractor. That'll set out the terms of the contract (number of hours, hourly/daily/weekly/monthly rate etc). Your thinking is accurate they should definitely get Quickbooks for their accounting. If they want to have a payment solution like bill.com they can keep that or try Rillion as it has good user ratings in Capterra etc. For ease of use. We didn't evaluate bill.com. Did you have a bad experience with bill.com or with FF, just to clarify? We did look into the NetSuite AP automation but it's way to simple for our needs, it doesn't do well with our setup. We did an evaluation with the NetSuite team and we both agreed it wouldn't work. My only experience is that getting paid by someone who uses bill.com is a huge pain in the ass- you have to log in to bill.com to see the payment advice for checks issued from that platform. I hate it. I don't know if there's a (non-paid account) way to make the payments integrate or something, but we are about to make a policy saying we don't accept bill.com payments for that reason. Let the fields that bill.com wants to overwrite be defined as the AR contact coming from bill.com then you use different fields for your PO contact (or use Relationships > Contacts and add a Contact record, either to the Customer record, or the SO, or both). Source: about 1 year ago
