We tend to recommend bgb to play Prism. You can find it here. It's a Windows-native application but it does run under WINE for macOS and Linux. Source: about 1 year ago
I would suggest using BGB as an emulator as it is the most accurate. https://bgb.bircd.org/ (windows only). Source: about 1 year ago
Pleasure. Also, you probably know it but the DS has Korg DS-10 which is pretty powerful too and quite cool. BTW if you want to check it out first on your computer my fav GB emulator is BGB https://bgb.bircd.org/ and you can load LSDJ in there easily! Source: over 1 year ago
I've just purchased a vintage GBC and I'd love to be able to play my Pokemon Crystal save games - created while playing Crystal on a BGB emulator - on the physical thing ๐. Source: almost 2 years ago
You have to use a GBC emulator, for Android I suggest Pizza Boy (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.dbtecno.pizzaboy), for PC, BGB (http://bgb.bircd.org/) ๐๐ have fun! Source: about 2 years ago
The GB emulators most commonly for homebrew development are the following. They all have debuggers and a high level of accuracy. Emulicious has C source debugging when using VSCode (or Sublime Text, though that's not yet released.) * BGB - http://bgb.bircd.org * Emulicious - https://emulicious.net * SameBoy - https://sameboy.github.io. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
While I can't help with direct links to ROMs, you can apply the English translation patch to a Japanese ROM of the game using the Lunar IPS patching program, then play it on any Game Boy emulator like VBA-M, BGB, mGBA, etc. Source: over 2 years ago
But you can also play it on an emulator like BGB (https://bgb.bircd.org/) that allow you to configure which GB model you are playing with (GBC, GB Pocket, DMG, etc.). So instead of unplugging and plugging an actual, you'll simply have to modify the emulator settings and reset the emulator to "switch" from one GB to another (more details about this on the game webpage: https://drludos.itch.io/gb-corp). Yes of course, you can play it on emulators too. I recommend BGB, as it's the closest to real hardware, and you can easily "switch" from one GB model to another: http://bgb.bircd.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
Game Boy emulation requires a toaster as much. Try to use BGB emulator: https://bgb.bircd.org/. Source: over 2 years ago
Bgb is a gb/gbc emulator with link support. I haven't tried it myself but it's something to look into. it looks like it might work over internet too. Source: over 2 years ago
BGB Emulator it's the best Gameboy Classic and Color emulator but you need run it with wine. Source: almost 3 years ago
The best PC emulator to use with Crystal Clear is BGB: http://bgb.bircd.org/ (effectively 1:1 with real consoles) Don't use any variant of VBA, these all have frequent graphical errors. Source: almost 3 years ago
You can run it on Windows in bgb, which is an accurate GB emulator which supports multi-channel recording, so you can record your channels separately and mix them together in a DAW (logic Pro, Ableton) if you want: bgb. Source: about 3 years ago
