  Consider trying to buy coffee from a grower. The coffee industry is full of rent seekers. In particular, you can get great coffee from the kauai coffee company as well as support local ownership on the island (I have been getting my coffee from them for years).   Second - Yes, tech, clothing, and food brands all have major issues. But RT's reach and viewcount is what is most important to the company. So I think you're comparing apples to oranges.
