  Check out Zephyr OS and Platform IO. Zephyr is part of the Linux foundation and has similarities to Linux with how it performs hardware abstraction (device tree). Platform IO integrates with other frameworks including mbed and Arduino. Source: over 1 year ago

• Stop Comparing Rust to Old C++

  Mbed library where supposed to do the trick, but they are develop by Arm, so I would not hope for broad support... And literally in they SECURITY section they showcase a snipped of code showing TSL usage with raw pointer and manual memory management (see by yourself, scroll down on https://os.mbed.com/ ).   I have several Freedom Boards from freescale (now NXP) and I use the mbed ecosystem to compile, flash and debug with pyOCD and gdb. They have a free IDE called Mbed Studio but I prefer to use the Mbed CLI tools from terminal. Source: almost 2 years ago

  Yeah, the motor is a generic Bafang. Comms controller seems to run on mbed judging by cursory analysis of the firmware. Battery controller has its own firmware and motor controller seems to be a blackbox. Source: almost 4 years ago
