  • I want to earn just a bit more.
Apply where? I only get interview calls from angel.co. Source: 10 months ago
  • How to find a job at a good startup?
I know there are things like Workatstartup.com angel.co where we can find some good startups but are there any others? Also, sorry if this is not a place to ask this type of question new here but interested in startups. Source: 10 months ago
  • Is there a way to find startups?
Try these, all free: topstartups.io, angel.co, otta.com. Source: 10 months ago
  • Where do you guys actually look for jobs beside LinkedIn and Indeed?
+1 always apply directly to the job posting on the company's site. More likely to get seen. If you're looking for startups, topstartups.io is good, along with angel.co. Source: 11 months ago
  • My journey freelancing from 2018-2023
In my sophomore year of college in 2020, I discovered Angel.co through a fellow freelancer. Intrigued by the possibility of broadening my horizon beyond Upwork, I took the next step every freelancer yearned for and established my software development agency Mennr, finding our niche in offering our services to startups (at this point, I had formed a team with some buddies I met on Upwork who lived in India and... • Company asking to work for free for initial days.
Both of my last internships were at startups only. Yeah, I can learn a lot at startups and personally, I would like to go for a startup only in my early days. But I don't want any shitty startup. People should have goals and visions. There are literally a million startups out there. After interviewing for some at Angel.co I realized that any mf has opened the startups. These guys were so awkward while talking to... Source: 11 months ago
  • Company asking to work for free for initial days.
I'm a student and will be graduating soon. As of now, I have no offers and I'm interviewing very aggressively rn. I keep applying and after making tonnes of applications on Angel.co I received an assignment from a startup. The startup is small af. I can't even find their LinkedIn. Not even the LinkedIn of the founder with whom I had a call regarding the company. The thing is that they said that they won't be able... Source: 11 months ago
  • What to do this summer? And Feeling Uncertain
I would say keep applying, maintain your grades, and enjoy your freshman summer. You could also look into working at startups as well. Handshake and Angel.co were places I looked at. I worked at a startup as a freshman and it was a really productive use of time as it was low-entry and served as a resume booster. From there, I was able to use that as a source of leverage to eventually break into IB/Consulting roles. Source: 11 months ago
  • How Next.js Redirects Work
Permanent redirection: This method which uses a 301 HTTP status code is used to indicate that a URL you're requesting has permanently moved to a new web address. A good example to illustrate this is the Angelist Talent former website (https://angel.co) which now permanently redirects to https://wellfound.com/. - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
  • What websites have yall been using for finding jobs in the tech field?
Linkedin covers most use cases. If you want to go startup-specific, topstartups.io, angel.co, Otta.com. Source: 12 months ago
  • What industries are still hiring?
Tech? Look at junior PM positions? Might be able to hit $100k out the gate with your experience & MBA even though you don't have a tech background. Look at startups on angel.co. Source: 12 months ago
  • What the fuck is SO WRONG WITH WORKING FROM HOME?!!
Saying all of this it is very easy to find completely remote jobs in startups on sites like angel.co paying decent rates so it's worth looking at moving if that's what you want. I'm looking forward to doing the opposite and going back to an office but now it's hard to find local businesses hiring on-site lol compared to being able to apply across basically two continents. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Is there a list of remote jobs that pay equally regardless of location/zone of the employee?
As for your question, I don't know of any comprehensive list but look at angel.co. Small companies and independent shops are much more likely to offer location-agnostic comp. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Seeking advice
I think having a demo of the figma prototype helps as it shows how the app is going to work and how it's different from existing solutions. I also mention the problem I'm trying to solve and the solution I came up with and that I got some interest with people joining the waitlist. I contact people on the startup school cofounder match and also put a listing on wellfound.com (previously angel.co). Source: about 1 year ago
  • How to partner with dev's on a side project
As a dev, I have partnered up with business folk based on posts they've made on angel.co. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Who has landed a position in 2023?
I either applied on Otta.com , angel.co, Linkedin or I networked my way into an interview. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What is considered to be a good pay in ahmedabad?
There are hundereds out there. But this 3 works for me. 1. angel.co. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Side hustles
I would rather suggest taking up internships. If you freelance you would be expected to already know your stuff. Imo internships allow you to learn more and understand what you would like as a career. Check internships on angel.co. They are mainly for startups and give you more flexibility. You can reach out to me if you have any questions! Cheers! Source: about 1 year ago
  • Applied to a company, got a test link, failed miserably(could not even wrap my head around on how to begin). Looking for implementation ideas now. 3+ YOE.
Couple years ago I applied to angel.co because I was already in finance space and it looked really hip. They wanted a front-end + back-end web app with a bucketing algorithm implemented. I was actually dumb enough to spend ~8 hours building the whole thing, writing complete unit and e2e tests for the back-end logic and web API exposures, generally the whole thing (IMO) ended up really clean complete with... • How old are you and what is the biggest problem in your life right now?
