I'd also like to throw in Windows Ameliorated as an option to a less bloated, more privacy friendly version of Windows. Been using it myself for the last couple of years and haven't run into many issues. Only real issue I had is that I had to manually install .NET Framework from the windows iso for gaming, but a quick search solved that. Source: about 2 years ago
