#3 Coding a Rogue/Nethack RPG in C by badcodinghabits [disclaimer I only skimmed the playlist] : A youtube series in which you follow a guy making a rogue-ike. It uses Ncurses library (so if you are planning on following along on windows make a quick search to see if it's available in there or you could install WSL and use that as your terminal for compilation & execution in VScode? ). By the end of it you should be able to know what a Makefile is, how to separate your code into multiple files and how to handle structs. (i think it's okay for an advanced-beginner that knows the C syntax and is not afraid to learn new libraries).

Also some of the tutorials have become books so you will have to hunt for an archived version (just copy the link into archive.org). And finally some projects are dead like 'Handmade Quake' but fortunately someone archived it.
