    Oh, that's another thing I learned the hard way. Whois data is free, provided you know the server to ask. But for your particular situation what I did on mine was pull from a variety of sources and cascade as I hit limits: KeyCDN, ipinfo.io, ip-api.com, ARIN, and good-ol DNS.
