I think many with start moving over lemmy and instances like https://vlemmy.net and others. https://join-lemmy.org/ gives a good background. Reddit had a good run but I think its time to move on. All the vulture capitalists just trying to line thier pockets has ruined it for everyone.

Is there a consensus on a different site yet? I've been spamming SaidIt.net on these kinds of threads, with the caveat that it's currently a right-wing shithole (but wouldn't take many people to outnumber the current degenerate userbase).

Are the same community. If you have an account on lemmy.ml you want to use the second link so you can easily join the community. Mastodon has the same issue, but there is a Chrome extension where you can set your home server so if you find yourself on another Mastodon server you can easily follow other users.
