This will make that setup worth your while. I freaking love Synergy. I personally use it for linux/windows compatibility but it will play nicely with Macs too.

  3. Quickly test your internet speed with this fast-loading speed test powered by Netflix.
My Wi-Fi is pretty mast (I'm getting like 300 Mbit/s in a room), but there's the thing, bandwidth being high probably doesn't matter much so long as it's double or so of what's enough to stream something like 4K movies? So, basically, 80-100 MBit/s and you're good? Really not sure, please do some research elsewhere. It's probably frequency of disconnections and latency that matters, and I've never measured what my latency is over wi-fi _locally_, https://fast.com/ shows 8 ms unloaded and 60-85 ms loaded for internet over wi-fi, and 3 and 8 ms respectively over wire connected to the same router, so I guess that suggests wi-fi adds like 70 ms of latency on average "under load" whatever fast.com (by Netflix) means by "load"?
