Performance Issues with Linksys EA8100

Hello! I'm trying to remedy and issue with the wireless router in my home. It is currently located about 8-10 feet from me. We installed the router 2 years ago and it has what should be a secure password. As long as we have been using the router I have had very poor performance with some websites on my laptop. Some websites are almost always reliable, but there are a select few I use regularly (Google, Archive.org, Target.com, etc.) that will absolutely refuse to load at times. The browser literally gives up and gives me the error loading message.
