Youglish Forvo
  1. Improve your English pronunciation using Youtube. When words sound different in isolation vs. in a sentence, look up the pronunciation first in a dictionary, then use https://youglish.com.
I have one producer who always sends me a pronunciation guide. Otherwise I'm on my own. There are great websites like forvo.com and youglish.com plus many others that specialize in certain languages, dialects etc. If there's anything I'm unsure of I'll reach out to the Producers and they'll find out for me. If it's place names, I'll find the place on the map, then phone a shop or two there and get them to help me with the pronunciation!!
