Can't get FreeBSD to resolve hostnames. Fresh VM Install for Version 13.2 on VirtualBox | Host Window 11

Google Search, also referred to as Google Web Search or simply Google, is a web search engine developed by Google. It is the most used search engine on the World Wide Web
The same situation is with google.com or any other hostname for that matter. If I type the IP, it works but the hostname doesn't. I tried fixing this by putting nameserver 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in my resolv.conf but that instead of showing the error "Ping: Unknown host" made the terminal hang and the only out of it is to send a keyboard interrupt using Ctrl-C which then shows 100% packet lost.

I did a FreeBSD VM install on a Windows 11 Host with bridge networking. During the install pinging hostnames such as google.com or freebsd.org was working absolutely fine however when the installation was completed and I booted up the VM without the ISO, my fresh BSD install cannot resolve any hostnames whatsoever.
