Snippety: Snippety is a more recent app. Its UI is slick and modern. It lacks some basic features to make it a full fledged expander at this point IMO, but the dev is receptive and willing to add features users request.

TypeIt4Me

Typeit4Me: The original expander, I think. It's great and offers features not offers on others. Maybe more importantly, the crew behind it (a father and son) are great. The next major version (7) is in the works, and will hopefully offer some improvements in the UI department. It's not bad at all but needs a bit of a facelift.
