Could emulators be the solution to running epic games' fortnite natively on linux?

Yuzu Waydroid Ryujinx

An experimental open-source emulator for the Nintendo Switch

I think switch emulators like Yuzu or Ryujinx have a lot of potential. As far as I know, there is no way for apps to detect these emulators. And why would they? As far as they know, switch is a secure platform, and cheating via switch is probably not even on their radar. But Fortnite is freely available on the eShop and could be ripped to an emulation of a switch. Yuzu supports keyboard bindings, and mouse plus the aim assist of console versions would be amazing. Would run smoothly too, because of the limitations that they put on consoles. Would also look like shit because of said optimizations/limitations.

  2. A container-based approach to boot a full Android system on a regular GNU/Linux system like Ubuntu.

Well, waydroid meets those requirements and so could a number of any other emulators. Epic says they have controller support (and also would “remove from the match” anyone who uses a keyboard) but theoretically it could be made to map to a keyboard using Linux magic. Since epic games' fallout with Google, you have to directly download versions from Epic for every update, which is not ideal, but is something that all android users suffer from now. They also have a rooted device protection thing, but that could also be worked around.
