There were no known issues with the Portal on Thursday. If you do have connection issues to either service, try going to a standard web site like cnn.com to see if your device can reach it. Webcourses is in the cloud but uses UCF cloud based systems for authentication. my.ucf.edu runs out of a local data center but uses the same authentication services. Checking downdetector.com for signs of widespread issues is also a good idea to look for general Internert service issues.
