How do I get a networking job ?

LinkedIn indeed
  1. LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking service, mainly used for professional networking.
20+ years as an Enterprise Network Engineer and got my CCIE about 20 years ago. I think just having any degree is good enough doesn't need to be IT related it's just a check mark business cross off for new employees and getting your CCNA is a big deal that's a hard test and show's you have discipline to study hard. If I were you I'd apply to a managed service provider network support MSPs are hard to work always have to satisfy the customer but you'll get great experience seeing a lot of different networks then move to a regular company if you get burned out. Another great step is working at NOC position that monitors network which is next logical step or search for a Junior Network Administrator/Engineer position. Use indeed.com, linkedin.com, and glassdoor.com to search for this positions. As a network engineer there are two types an Enterprise Network Engineer that works for a company that ultimately manages routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controller and access points. The other is a Service Provider Network engineer working at an ISP manages MPLS/BGP and is pretty much all routing and switching for the Internet I'm sure you are aware you work for one. That's a question for what you like the most and interested in studying.
