Making a text editor with Godot. (And learning some stuff about it.)

I'm sure that creating a basic text editor won't be too hard using Godot considering that all the features you would want are already part of the engine and on display in the Godot editor itself. However if all you're looking for is an open source text editor that supports Russian, why not something like Gedit, Kate, OpenOffice Writer? Taking a second to search online, it seems like this open source program named Novel Writer is fully translated to Russian and is aimed at novelists….
