Appearence-wise, /e/OS has its own theme, but most of the custom rom are based on LineageOS (here is LineageOS's website btw). Also, those are the devices with official support, and with an official installation guide. Other devices might have working custom roms, look them up on the XDA forums, these can be tricker to install, since, while the general method is the same, there is no step-by-step tutorial, and you get information written in different years, some of which might not be relevant anymore.
