I also used to use the Intuit 1099 e-file service, which I liked it except that it didn't support more than one payer per account. I'm using tax1099.com this year, and have already generated a bunch of 1099-NECs for multiple payers using a single account. The IRS used to approve Intuit e-file requests with a day or so after they were submitted. The tax1099 1099-NECs submitted for e-file a week ago haven't been approved yet (status = processing). I'm not too worried about it (yet). The tax1099 website says there can be significant approval delays during busy season (Intuit didn't seem to have this problem).
