Clara.io https://clara.io/ Has a lot of features, but is a bit simpler than blender in my opinion. Especially good to put together a few primitives. Runs in your web browser!

Assetforge

Asset Forge $19.95 https://assetforge.io/ Put together pre-made blocks to design new objects. Obviously since it uses pre-made blocks you can't make arbitrary models. But the included library of blocks is so huge that I usually find what I need.
