How do I (learn to) make really good emails?

    If you're interested in learning how to make emails from scratch I'd first learn HTML and CSS and then view the source code of the emails on reallygoodemails.com and then see how those devs are accomplishing the layout of their emails. I highly recommend that you find a tool that lets you test your emails across all email clients cause that will allow you see all the weird differences in how the email clients handle css. In my previous job we used Email On Acid.

    Did you build emails in isolation and then drop them into a web framework like Rails/Laravel or was there a different workflow? I've seen the ability in tools like Postmark to upload your templates and then have your app make API requests to send emails that way but it does seem additionally complicated.
