Deleting Old Email Accounts

As stated in the title, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to delete my old email accounts because I want to narrow down the number of email accounts that I have and save myself the stress of having so many. I'm hesitant to delete them because I deleted an email account when I was younger and realized that there was a Facebook and Skype account I forgot to get rid of and now I can't delete those without the original email. I've been using saymine.com and haveibeenpwned.com to delete any accounts associated with my emails. Any advice on how I should approach this issue?
