Traktor remix sets (where to find?)

Splice Hit'n'Mix Infinity
  1. 1
Music creation, collaboration, and sharing made simple.
If you're not looking for full songs and instead just want some loops to play with, Splice is a good option. Rather than buying a sample pack and ending up with a hundred variations of a hi-hat you'll never use, you can just search for specific types of loops pulled from thousands of sample packs and download them individually. It does require a subscription, but even the cheapest option should give you plenty of downloads per month for your needs.

  2. The atomic audio editor that works with the actual notes and harmonics in audio.
Finally, you could use a program like RipX or izotope RX to isolate parts of existing tracks yourself, but that can require a bit of fiddling and experimenting if you don't know what you're doing, not to mention purchasing the software itself. RX in particular is incredibly expensive and is a little overkill for that purpose, but if you've worked with audio before, or know someone who does, you may already have access to it. I've used both, and RipX does a pretty decent job most of the time and is much simpler to use. The quality can vary from track to track and what you're trying to isolate, however.
