Unable to reach ancestry.com via comcast

Your link takes me to imgur: the majic of the internet, which is a full page of pictures etc etc. All of my websites that I routinely use are working fine....it is only ancestry.com that doesn't load and because apparently others are experiencing the same problem and ancestry is aware of problem with comcast, I am stopping this for awhile in hoping that Comcast gets enough complaints. Again, as indicated on other thread, these DNS problems are often located to specific areas of country, so having people post it works fine for them is not entirely useful, unless they are also located in Northern California,.

Thanks. The problem does seem to have been fixed for now. Another user who posted originally on another thread seems also have problem resolved as well. We were both experiencing the same problem. Don’t know whether we were in the same part of country using the same dns comcast servers, but apparently ancestry.com was getting other complaints. It impacted npr.org as well so maybe their users were complaining also. What I love is that by googling “my” problem, I was able to find another person here who was having exactly the same problem…saved me some time in troubleshooting.
