Learning to code and it's a lot

Jupyter Colaboratory CodePen

Speaking of, I just googled both book names and they're available online, and seem to provide a reasonable foundation for using the language, but not much else. Maybe the reason why they're giving you math problems is because they're self-contained and don't require knowing any technology outside of python itself. With javascript, you'd be pushed toward learning some HTML and CSS too and quickly start being able to put together little animations or user interfaces on little sites like CodePen. Meanwhile with Python, people's idea of fun is to write Jupyter notebooks or to use Google Collab..
