C is not an easy language to learn, unless you have a great teacher/course/book. edx.org, Coursera for classes AND you will gain a community. For books, everyone says K&R but that mustn't be your only book. "Head First C" is good for beginners and fun. A lot of other books start off easy but only for the first 2 chapters.
