TypingTest.com is one of the wonderful websites that persuades you to check your typing speed and offers training lessons created by professional writers to maximize typing accuracy in no time.
I find that it helps to switch between websites and software from time to time. Just make sure that in each website you're always aiming for accuracy first before speed. I personally started practicing 1.5 years ago starting from absolutely nothing. When teachers would conduct typewritten or online exams I would always struggle to pass it on time with all of my ideas laid out in the paper just becuase I was typing so slowly. Started on getting my foundation right using typingtest.com , keybr.com, and 10fastfingers.com/typing-test/english. After a while (i.e. When I reached 120-130 words per minute on average). I started going on typeracer.com but never made an account since I think I would be fixated on having a really high full average if I had one. Now my 10 race non-quit average on typeracer is 125 wpm (PB is 177 wpm on a short quote), and my personal best on 10fastfingers is 140 wpm with 99.86% accuracy. Discovered monkeytype.com through a YT channel and this subreddit and was able to get 148 wpm on the 30 second test with 100% accuracy. It takes some time but you'll definitely improve with constant practice! Don't give up!
