One advantage is that the Cloudkey is getting updates directly from ui.com - They don't publish a Docker image directly under their own auspices unfortunately and the most commonly used docker image is built by some dude named Jacob who could insert malicious or avaricious code if he ever gets hacked or wants to retire a millionaire. Most NASes seem to run every damn thing as root.
