The person you asked at crypto.com clearly doens't know what they're talking about. Put another way, if I were to build a website and wanted to add the "Log in with Google, Facebook, Twitter" buttons...I don't email Google asking when they are going to add it to my site. I go to the dev site and add it myself.

Gnosis Safe

+1 for Trezor making API available. There already are other wallets out there that support / integrate with Trezor and / or Ledger which you can use. I've had smooth sailing since I started using Ambire Wallet recently and would recommend it, but there are also others like Gnosis Safe etc.
