There are several issues with BAND-MAID's data on last.fm. In addition to the usual duplicates caused by transliteration and and translation, there are also typographical issues with the band's name. There are 3.4 million scrobbles at https://www.last.fm/music/BAND-MAID (using the hyphen-minus character) but another 16 thousand at https://www.last.fm/music/BAND%E2%80%90MAID (using a true hyphen character). The latter is also used for the master record at MusicBrainz. Technically, a true hyphen is the correct character, but you can't type it with a single key stroke. I go with the easy-to-type character used by the majority. One day last.fm will allow all these duplicates to be merged.
