I'm going to be moving to truenas scale soon, any recommendations? Or any better Nas operating system?

I have been using Truenas Core/FreeNAS since mid 2019 for mass storage of my 30 TB of photos and mostly videos (I make videos for clients and keep all data from previous projects (many of them a few hundred GB to 2 TB of 4K ProRes RAW video)) as well as numerous jails (similar to Docker containers but FreeBSD) in which I run Nextcloud, Shlink, a [matrix] server (Synapse), a dovecot/postfix mailserver, my website, a Minecraft server and some webapps I programmed myself and I am generally very happy with it. I recently bought 4 16 TB hard drives which I am now running in raidz (i. e. One drive is allowed to fail without any data loss) to which I am currently migrating my data. When that’s done I will destroy the 6x 8 TB raidz2 single vdev pool, create a new pool with a 7x 8 TB raidz vdev, back up all of my data to it and give it to a friend as an off site backup. Once that’s done I will switch to TrueNAS Scale, mostly because of Linux and Docker/Kubernetes as well as maybe in the future GPU passthrough to offload Blender 3D rendering or photogrammetry from my MacBook to the server.

Initially I had only planned to use the server for file storage over a SMB share. Some day I installed the Nextcloud plugin. I later started tinkering with it, installed updates, etc. And learned a lot about the FreeBSD/Unix/Linux/macOS command line along the way. Whenever I had a problem I googled it and often found helpful solutions in tutorials and in answered questions on Stackoverflow/Serverfault, the TrueNAS Community forum and Reddit.
