Is there a way for people to translate scans if I buy the raws? there are a lot of older series that sound interesting but no ones ever translated them.

Jisho Google Vision AI Anki

Powerful and easy-to-use online Japanese-English dictionary with words, kanji and example...
Additionally you should single out Japanese phrases and Kanji where the translation doesn't make sense and use sites like RomanjiDesu and Jisho to look them up.

  2. Cloud Vision API provides a comprehensive set of capabilities including object detection, ocr, explicit content, face, logo, and landmark detection.
If you want to translate your self then you can use Capture2Text to get the raw text from a scan. An alternative to that is Google's Vision API but that would require you to set up a custom script, it's more accurate but also more work.

Anki is a program which makes remembering things easy. Because it's a lot more efficient than traditional study methods, you can either greatly decrease your time spent studying, or greatly increase the amount you learn.

The fastest way to learn Kana is probably Duolingo, it's free and efficient. For grammar and sentences I would recommend Busuu, at least to get you started. If you want to learn Kanji then WaniKani is probably the best service for that, however it is a little pricy. You can try it for free and see if you like it though. An alterative to that is Anki but it's a lot more hassle to set up and more difficult to keep on track and stay motivated imo.
