Other then that you can also try Reaper from reaper.fm another popular DAW. It has an endless evaluation period but unlike buying something like Logic, FL Studio or Ableton it does not come with a big library of instruments and synths just some basic mixing/mastering tools and synth.

There are also some really good Youtube channel devoted to Vital synth and of course Serum if you chose to buy it. Serum https://xferrecords.com/products/serum is a very popular synth that most EDM producers use and it costs $200 or you can get it for $10 a month via Splice https://splice.com/plugins/15493-serum-vst-au-by-xfer-records if you can't afford it outright. VItal the synth I mentioned earlier is basically a competitor to Serum and in some ways better and in some ways worse but almost as good. It also has a paid version that offers more presets and some extra features. There are a lot of resources on the web and presets for Serum and a few for Vital since its new (came out this or last year, can't remember).
